The Iranian state-controlled media reported that seven prisoners were hanged between July 12 and 22 in Tehran and other cities. Three more were sentenced to death.

On July 19, Davoudi and Yazdani, 19 and 20 respectively, were hanged in public in Najaf-Abad (central Iran). Another prisoner, Moussa Nouri, was hanged in public in Dehloran (western Iran).

On July 14, a prisoner in the northern city of Sari and a 25-year-old in the city of Isfahan were hanged in public.

On July 12, a female prisoner in Qazvin and a prisoner in Rajai-shahr township (west of Tehran) were executed.
