Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Aug. 03 – Iranian authorities hanged two men in public in Tehran on Thursday for killing a senior judge in 2005. Iran Focus

Tehran, Iran, Aug. 03 – Iranian authorities hanged two men in public in Tehran on Thursday for killing a senior judge in 2005.

The executions took place outside the judiciary headquarters in front of a large crowd as well as Iran’s chief of police Brig. Gen. Ismaeil Ahmadi-Moqqaddam and Tehran’s chief prosecutor Saeed Mortazavi.

Majid Kavousifar and Hossein Kavousifar had been convicted of killing Hassan Moqqaddas in his car in 2005.
