The report said that the meeting would likely focus on the international standoff over Tehrans nuclear program and recent events in the Persian Gulf region.
Irans chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani was in Pretoria in February where he held talks with President Mbeki on issues of Iran-South Africa bilateral interest.
The United Nations Security Council voted unanimously in December to impose sanctions on Tehran for its nuclear defiance. It gave Tehran two months to suspend uranium enrichment and return to the negotiating table.
South Africa currently holds the Security Councils rotating presidency.
