Tehran, Iran, Apr. 10 – The head of Iran’s central bank has travelled to Washington, DC to attend the annual joint summit of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, the official news agency IRNA reported on Monday.

The IMF and the World Bank are to hold their annual meeting on April14-15 in the U.S. capital.

Ebrahim Sheibani is scheduled to deliver a speech on the state of Iran’s banking system at the meeting. He will also hold talks with the heads of numerous other states’ central banks, the report added.
