Tehran, Iran, Jul. 08 – Four trucks carrying fuel slammed into one another on a stretch of motorway in south-east Iran near the city of Zahedan leaving at least 13 people dead, state television reported on Sunday.

The report said that 17 people were aboard the trucks as was several thousand litres of fuel.

The fuel was being smuggled, and the trucks had switched off their headlights to avoid detection, the report added.
