Reuters: An explosion on a pipeline bringing natural gas from Iran to Turkey halted supplies late on Sunday, a Turkish energy official told Reuters. ANKARA (Reuters) – An explosion on a pipeline bringing natural gas from Iran to Turkey halted supplies late on Sunday, a Turkish energy official told Reuters.

The official, who declined to be named, said the blast on Sunday evening was some 5 km inside Turkish territory, but that the cause of the explosion was not immediately known.
