PARIS, Feb 12 (Reuters) – Oil major Total is still in negotiation with Iran on a major gas deal, but talks are moving very slowly, Yves-Louis Darricarrere, head of the company's exploration and production, said on Thursday.

Finalisation of a contract to develop the Pars LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) project has been subject to delays.

"We are still in touch with the authorities on Pars LNG and talks are advancing very slowly," he told reporters on the sidelines of the firm's results. (Reporting by Muriel Boselli)
