Reuters: The United States is concerned about the post-election situation in Iran, where a presidential election won by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sparked protests by the opposition who says it was rigged, the White House said on Monday.

CHICAGO, June 15 (Reuters) – The United States is concerned about the post-election situation in Iran, where a presidential election won by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sparked protests by the opposition who says it was rigged, the White House said on Monday.

"Obviously we continue to have concerns about what we're seeing," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters aboard Air Force One on the way to Chicago.
