MOSCOW, Nov 11 (Reuters) – Gazprom Neft, Russia's fifth-largest oil producer, said on Wednesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Iranian Oil Co (NIOC) to study the development of two Iranian oilfields.

Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of gas giant Gazprom, said in a statement it would enter negotiations with NIOC on the potential development of the Azar and Shangule deposits after carrying out a study of the projects. (Reporting by Robin Paxton; editing by Toni Vorobyova)
