TEHRAN – A one-man private plane has crashed in the northeast of Iran killing the pilot, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

An interior ministry spokesman said the plane had crashed near the the town of Kalaleh, in the forested Caspian Sea province of Golestan. The Red Crescent said they had sent a team of rescue workers to the area.
