Tehran, Oct. 22 – This morning an earthquake measuring 3.7 degrees on the Richer scale shook the area surrounding the city of Nourabad in the Iranian province of Lorestan (Western Iran).

The quake was recorded by the seismographic center of the Geophysical Institute of Tehran University in the early hours of the day.

Only minor damages and no casualties have so far been reported.
