Tehran, Iran, Jul. 27 – Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Israel turned on the key to its own destruction by launching an attack on Lebanon, the official news agency reported on Friday.

“With the start of a new round of barbaric aggression against Lebanon, the regime occupying Palestine has effectively turned on the key to its non-existence”, Ahmadinejad told a religious crowd in Tehran late Thursday.

“The continuation of the current process will soon result in an explosion of the suppressed wrath of Muslim nations of the region”, he said.

“The Zionist regime and the supporters of its crimes who prevent the adoption of a resolution seeking a cease-fire at the United Nations Security Council must know that they cannot end the events they have started whenever they want and, God willing, they will fail in their objectives and will be destroyed with shame”, he added.
