Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Jan. 16 – Iranian forces have shot down an unmanned United States spy plane, a government-run news agency quoted an Iranian Majlis (Parliament) deputy as saying on Tuesday.

Tehran, Iran, Jan. 16 – Iranian forces have shot down an unmanned United States spy plane, a government-run news agency quoted an Iranian Majlis (Parliament) deputy as saying on Tuesday.

Seyyed Nezam Mola Hoveyzeh told the news agency Fars that the spy drone was shot down several days ago during a border incursion near Dasht Azadegan.

He was quoted as saying that the U.S. routinely sends spy planes into Iranian air space.
