Tehran, Iran, Jan. 18 – Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel arrived on Thursday in the city of Birjend, north-east Iran, for a two-day visit, state media reported.

Haddad-Adel plans to meet locals and officials in Birjend and neighbouring towns during his trip.

Birjend is situated in the province of Khorrasan Jonoubi.
