officials in Tehran said.

Tehran, Iran, Dec. 06 – An Iranian military plane crashed south of the Iranian capital Tuesday afternoon, officials in Tehran said.

The plane, a C-130 transport flyer, was travelling from Tehran to the southern port city of Bandar Abbas. It crashed in the Yaft-Abad district of the Iranian capital.

It was carrying 80 passengers and 10 crew members.

There is no word yet on casualties.
