Tehran, Iran, Feb. 14 – Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani made yet another unexpected trip to Riyadh on Wednesday to meet and hold talks with Saudi officials, the official news agency IRNA reported.

The news agency quoted “informed sources” in Saudi Arabia as saying Larijani, secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), was to discuss Tehran’s nuclear dossier and regional developments with Saudi political and security officials. It added that Larijani would leave the kingdom in the afternoon.

This is for the fourth time in the past two months that Larijani had conferred with Saudi officials, the report said.
