Tehran, Iran, Mar. 17 – Iran’s Foreign Minister accused the European Union on Monday of carrying out human rights abuses.

“Iran is seriously concerned about human rights violations in Europe, especially [against”> Muslim prisoners in certain European countries”, Manouchehr Mottaki told visiting Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey in a meeting. His remarks were reported by the government-run news agency Mehr.

Calmy-Rey arrived in Tehran on Sunday for a two-day visit.

Mottaki and Calmy-Rey held talks on bilateral relations and developments in the Middle East.
