Tehran, Feb. 08 – An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale struck the town of Garash in the southern province of Fars, state media reported.
 
The quake struck at 00:05 local time (20:35 hours GMT), the state-run Fars news agency reported on Monday.
 
There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
