Tehran, Iran, Dec. 27 – Iran’s south-western province of Khuzestan was jolted three times Tuesday morning during minor earthquakes, state television reported.

At least 11 people were injured in the town of Lali.

One of quakes which hit at around three in the morning measured 5.1 on the Richter scale.

The governorate of Lali announced that some 2,000 residential and commercial buildings were damaged between 10 to 40 percent as a result of the quakes.
