The officials of the Islamic Republic will never abandon our countrys right to uranium enrichment, the state news agency IRNA quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki as having told Iranian businessmen in Japan.
Mottaki arrived in Tokyo on Monday for three days of talks with Japanese officials over Tehrans nuclear program.
The era of bullying is over, he said.
Mottaki said that with regard to Irans nuclear program, the United Nations Security Council must not become a political tool in the hands of the West.
Our effort are aimed at preventing Irans nuclear file from going to the Security Council but you must know that under no circumstances will be abandon our right, he added.
