The latest quake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck close to the industrial city of Doroud at approximately 15:24 Tehran time on Friday.
Since Thursday evening, there have been more than a dozen other earthquakes in the province three of which were considered powerful.
The quakes have left at least 66 people dead and more than 1,250 injured. Several hundred villages in the province were flattened in the tremors.
The most powerful of the quakes with a magnitude of 6.0 struck the city of Doroud as people were asleep in the early hours of the day.
