London, May 04 – Iran has appointed a new ambassador to Indonesia, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

Behrouz Kamalvandi was appointed to the new post by hard-line Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Kamalvandi was formerly Iran’s ambassador to Zimbabwe and the director of planning and overview of the Foreign Ministry.
