Tehran, Iran, Jul. 04 – The European Union’s foreign policy chief Javier Solana and Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani will likely meet in Brussels on Wednesday, the government-run news agency Fars reported on Tuesday.

The report quoted an “informed source” as saying that the talks would most likely be held in Brussels and last for several hours.

Western media had previously reported that the talks would take place in Paris.

Larijani and Solana are expected to discuss a package of incentives offered to Tehran by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany in return for it to suspend uranium enrichment.

Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Tehran would give its response to the package by August 22 while the Security Council have set July 12 as the deadline for the response.
