Tehran, Iran, Sep. 14 – The head of Iran’s central bank will soon be replaced, government-run Persian-language websites reported on Thursday.

Hossein Namazi will replace incumbent central bank chief Ibrahim Sheibani.

Namazi was once the Islamic Republic’s Economy Minister under Prime Minister Hossein Moussavi in the 1980s.
