The two brothers, identified as Reza and Saeid Z., were hanged in Shora Street amid heavy security.
They had been charged with launching an armed attack on Khorramabads City Hall in 2005, killing one of its staff, in an apparent revenge attack after another brother of theirs was executed in prison.
An Islamic court also convicted the pair of spreading fear in society, taking part in armed clashes with agents of Irans State Security Forces, and being mohareb, or waging war on God.
