Tehran, Iran, Jan. 18 – A man was hanged in Iran on Wednesday for a crime he allegedly committed some 27 years ago.

The 47-year-old man identified only by his first name Houshang was hanged at dawn in a prison in the city of Isfahan, central Iran, the government-run news agency Fars reported.

He was accused of murdering the relatives of his step brother 27 years ago when he was only 20 years old.
