Tehran, Iran, Sep. 13 – In defiant mode Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the new British Ambassador to Tehran that Iran's nuclear rights were not negotiable, state-run media reported.

"Iranian people will never allow anybody to interfere in the country's internal affairs, and I hope the British government will repair its past mistakes." Ahmadinejad told the newly-appointed UK Ambassador to Iran Simon Gass in a meeting on Monday.

Iran has accused the British government of being at the heart of internal unrest following Iranian presidential elections which were shrouded in controversy.
