Tuesday in Washington: NCRI reveals Iran secret parallel nuclear program

-

The U.S. Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US) will hold a press conference on Tuesday (24 February 2015) in National Press Building, in Washington DC to expose ‘highly critical and reliable intelligence on the existence of an active and secret parallel nuclear program in Iran.’

The NCRI-US said in a statement: “Through its sources within the Iranian regime, the National Council of Resistance of Iran has obtained highly critical and reliable intelligence on the existence of an active and secret parallel nuclear program in Iran.”

Details of the nuclear program will be revealed at a press conference on Tuesday, February 24 at 10am at the Holeman Lounge, National Press Building, in Washington DC.

The NCRI has exposed some of the most significant dimensions of the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons program, including the Natanz uranium enrichment and Arak heavy water sites in August 2002, Kalay-e Electric centrifuge assembly and testing facility in February 2003, the Lashkar-abad Laser enrichment and Lavizan-Shian sites in May 2003, the Fordo underground enrichment site in December 2005, and the Defensive Innovation and Research Organization, SPND, in July 2011.

The first revelations of illicit Iranian nuclear activities made by the Iranian resistance, however, came in June 1991.

A more thorough investigation reveals that nuclear weapons acquisition was on the regime’s agenda since the early years after the 1979 revolution and formed a pillar of the Iranian regime strategic and fundamentalist doctrine for regime survival and expansion.

All decisions on nuclear activities have always been made at the highest levels.

The NCRI’s in-depth research has also established that the regime’s Revolutionary Guards have systematically played a strategic role in the multi-faceted campaign to obtain nuclear weapons.
