“Iranian nuclear fuel will be produced in Iran itself,” Gholamreza Aghazadeh said.
“What is important is that the enrichment (of uranium) takes place in Iran,” he said.
His comments followed a meeting with Igor Ivanov, the head of Russia’s Security Council, who was in Tehran with what was thought to be a proposal under which Russia might conduct some nuclear fuel work on Iran’s behalf in a bid to end a long-running standoff with the international community.
