Tehran, Iran, Mar. 27 – Radical Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned the country’s “enemies” that his government would give them a “decisive and firm” response over their opposition to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities, and vowed that Tehran would not retreat “one iota” from its position, Iran’s official news agency reported on Monday.

“The enemies want to get concessions from Islamic Iran through psychological warfare, exaggeration, and propaganda, but the time has come for the bullies to be answerable for their crimes”, Ahmadinejad said Sunday in the city of Yasouj during the first day of his trip to the southern province of Kohkiloueh-va-Bouyerahmad.

“Our enemies are opposed to our progress and expansion and are upset that we are mastering nuclear energy, and are trying to get concessions from us by stage managing these scenes”, Ahmadinejad said. “Our nation will give them and ill-wishers for the Islamic Republic a decisive and firm response”.

“[The West”> must apologise because they have insulted Iran by accusing us of being warmongers – this is the greatest insult”.

“Islamic Iran will continue the path that it has chosen with steadfastness and might and will not retreat an iota from its inalienable rights. The enemies must know that the Iranian nation will get compensation from them for setting our peaceful nuclear activities back by two and a half years”.

“The nation is standing resolutely in defence of its rights and the world must know that the Iranian people will not retreat in their defence of their rights, in particular obtaining peaceful nuclear energy”.

He added that Tehran would stand against lawlessness and “bullying” in the world.
