Iran is prepared to carry out its obligations responsibly in the framework of the [International Atomic Energy”> Agency on the condition that its nuclear rights regarding enrichment are realised, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said at a meeting in Tehran with his South African counterpart. His comments were reported by the state-run news agency Fars.
Europe has offered Tehran a package of economic and nuclear incentives in return for it to abandon uranium enrichment.
The five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States as well as Germany agreed on Wednesday to send Tehran’s nuclear file to the council, where it could face sanctions for refusing to suspend uranium enrichment.
