Tehran, Iran, Aug. 16 A man was hanged in public in the northern Iranian province of Gilan on Thursday, state media reported.
The unnamed man was hanged in the town of Astaneh Ashrafiyeh, the state broadcasting corporation IRIB said in a report on its website.
He was accused of murder.
