ImageTehran, Iran, Sep. 07 – Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lashed out at Arab media for their reporting of the Iranian presidential election.

"A number of Arab media organisations acted very badly during election time in Iran and we are upset and have some complaints because they were affected by enemies' instillations", the state-run news agency Fars quoted Ahmadinejad as saying in a Monday press conference.

The recent Iranian presidential elections were marred by claims of fraud and vote-rigging, while widespread demonstrations continued for weeks following the election result as the Iranian population called for greater freedoms.

Iran has attempted to blame the widespread protests on the West.
