UPI: Iran announced plans Tuesday to resume nuclear research and rejected a Russian proposal for uranium enrichment. United Press International

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 (UPI) — Iran announced plans Tuesday to resume nuclear research and rejected a Russian proposal for uranium enrichment.

“This would indicate Iran’s solid decision to proceed with its nuclear weapons program while playing a nuclear shell game with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the international community,” said Alireza Jafarzadec, president of Strategic Policy Consulting, and the person who revealed in August 2002 Iran’s major nuclear sites in Natanz and Arak.

Iran’s nuclear research was never frozen, says Jafarzadeh. Iran has maintained a secret parallel nuclear weapons program run by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards; some 400 scientists are involved in secret facilities and programs. Iran has been using various universities to conduct its crucial nuclear research.

Ahmadinejad’s mission is to give the Iranian ayatollahs their first nuclear bomb, as fast as possible and at any cost.
