Tehran, Iran, Mar. 20 – An Iranian state-run daily warned in an editorial that the coming Persian year beginning March 20 will be “full of dangers”.

The number one danger for Iran was over its nuclear project, which is facing international opposition, the daily Etemaad wrote in its Sunday edition, the last to come out before the Persian New Year.

“According to information we have obtained until now, it must be said that the coming year is perceived to be a year full of dangers for Iran”, the daily wrote.

“Considering the political and international status quo during the last days of the year, the coming year will be very hard for Iran”.

“The main danger for Iran is naturally focused on the nuclear dossier, but the main danger which threatens us in this regard and is more apparent to the people is the danger posed by the economy”, it added.
