Tehran, Iran, Apr. 24 Irans Foreign Minister said on Monday that the Islamic Republic would continue to push ahead with its sensitive nuclear work despite a request by the United Nations Security Council for it to suspend all its uranium enrichment activities.
The United States was testing Iran, Manouchehr Mottaki told reporters on the sidelines of a conference on Iraq.
He demanded that the Security Council stop dealing with Tehrans nuclear file, which he said should be reviewed by the International Atomic Energy Agency instead. We hope that this issue ends up at its real place, he said.
Iran was willing to stand firm against international pressures for it to end its nuclear program.
