The state-run news agency Fars reported on Tuesday that if the current trade patterns were to continue the trade value between the two sides would reach $30 billion within three years.

Iran and Turkey have collaborated on a number of areas recently including economy, security, trade, education, energy and culture.

Iranian Economy Minister Seyed Shamseddin Hosseini announced in April that Turkey had replaced Britain as Tehran’s fourth trade partner.
