The Iranian regime’s involvement in Iraq is expanding and it is redrawing the map of central Iraq. This was reported by the Nation Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and later also confirmed by other news sources like Reuters. The NCRI reports that the Iranian regime is not present in Iraq to fight ISIS. Its aim is to compensate for the loss of Maliki’s ousting.
Jamal Jafar Ibrahim, known as Abu Mehdi Mohandes, who is wanted by the judiciaries of Kuwait and the United States, as well as Interpol, for blowing up the U.S. and French embassies in Kuwait in December 1983, has recently been introduced as Deputy President of the Popular Basij Organization.
The December 1983 explosions killed six and injured 80 including western citizens.

There is support for increasing sanctions on Iran in the new Republican-controlled US Congress to override veto threats by President Obama according to news reports. The Obama administration and other global powers are in negotiation with Tehran to convince the regime to give up its nuclear program. All the while, the White House has tried to make sure no law is passed in the US Congress for more sanctions so talks can continue unhindered.
