As the unnamed man was being taken to the gallows, the crowd on the scene called for his life to be spared. Officials, however, went ahead with the hanging. Iran Focus

Tehran, Sep. 2 – A man was hanged in public in the city of Arak, (central Iran) on Sunday, August 29.

As the unnamed man was being taken to the gallows, the crowd on the scene called for his life to be spared. Officials, however, went ahead with the hanging.

The victim, accused of murdering his wife, was the father of three.
