Tehran, Iran, Dec. 10 – Iranian authorities have hanged a man in the north-western town of Miandoab, a state-run daily reported on Saturday.

The man, only identified as Davoud, was hanged in prison at dawn on Thursday, the hard-line daily Qods wrote.

He was accused of rape and murder.
