Tehran, Iran, Nov. 26 – An Iranian fighter jet crashed in the Sea of Oman on Monday, leaving two people dead, state media reported.

The F-4 Phantom jet, which belonged to the Iranian military, crashed in the sea near the southern port of Konarak, the official news agency IRNA said.

Both pilots were killed in the crash which happened at 12.45 p.m. local time.
