Tehran, Iran, Mar. 21 – An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Char-Mahal and Bakhtiari Province, southern Iran, on Friday.

The quake occurred at 17:40 local time (13:10 GMT), the official news agency IRNA reported.

The tremor hit the city of Ardal, the report said.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
