Tehran, Iran, Apr. 01 – An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Kerman Province, south-eastern Iran, on Monday.

The quake occurred at 17:05 local time (12:35 GMT), the official news agency IRNA reported.

The tremor hit the city of Faryab, the report said.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
