ImageTEHRAN, Oct 10 (Reuters) – An Iranian bulk carrier and its 29 crew was released by pirates on Friday, seven weeks after it was hijacked off the coast of Somalia in August, Iran's official IRNA news agency.

IRNA quoted the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) as saying the Dianat was released after negotiations and did not give any further details.
