ImageTEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iranian Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar says his country has successfully test-fired a new generation of surface-to-surface solid-fuel missile.

Najjar said Wednesday on state television that the high-speed missile was manufactured at an aerospace organization affiliated with the Defense Ministry.

He did not say when the missile was tested.
