Seyyed Noureddin Shahnazizadeh, who heads the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, said that, finances permitting, the refineries will become operational in 2013.

Shahnazizadeh told a press conference that once the new refineries start to work, Iran’s gas and oil production capacities will reach 190 and 180 million litres a day respectively.

He added that one of the company’s priorities is to increase Iran’s export of oil products.
