Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Dec. 25 – An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck the town of Birjand in the eastern province of South Khorassan late on Wednesday, state media reported.

Tehran, Iran, Dec. 25 – An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck the town of Birjand in the eastern province of South Khorassan late on Wednesday, state media reported.

The quake struck at approximately 23.19 local time (19.49 GMT), the official news agency IRNA reported.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
