Tehran, Aug. 17 – A young man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in clashes between people and pro-government militiamen in Yasser Township, south-west Iran, eyewitnesses told Iran Focus.
Ali Badiri, 26, was shot by the State Security Forces. He had been under surveillance by the security forces because of his dissident activities in previous years.
Yasser Township is situated in Omidiyeh district in the oil-rich province of Khuzestan.
