Tehran, Iran, Oct. 08 – The President of the Iran-Vietnam Friendship Society, Deng No Levy, visited the central Iranian city of Isfahan on Thursday and called for strengthening Iran-Vietnam economic ties.

“We must help strengthen the existing weak economic relations between Iran and Vietnam”, Levy said.

Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported that Levy made the remarks during a meeting with Deputy Governor-General of Isfahan province for Political Affairs Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili.

“Fortification of the existing economic relations is the end of my visit to Iran” Levy said, adding he was confident this would be materialised.

Levy said the two countries were fighting a common enemy, the United States.
