TEHRAN Oct 20 (Reuters) – Five people were killed and another six were trapped inside a ship that sank while ferrying people from Iranian oil rigs to the mainland, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
The boat, belonging to the state-owned Pars Oil and Gas Company, was heading to the port city of Bushehr when it sank, reports said.
Sixty of the 72 people on board were rescued. The cause of the incident was unknown.
